Thriller

Planning - The planning of the blog began with very basic constructions. The main skill we learnt in basic construction was showing the evidence of our work. An example of the construction we used is story boards. By creating the story boards it allowed us to know how we will process our piece and therefore helped when we went to film. We also went through practice shot types. This allowed us to learn new filming techniques for our piece.

Software- Basic software usage e.g garage band, final cut, blog, photoshop. The skills we learnt were our development skills improved as well as our editing.

Creativity-skills at making connections between professional films and our own through deep analysis. inspiration for this was the film Se7en. This helped us to identify conventions.

Opening Sequence

Crime Caper - The blog was used in larger proportion to allow the group to jot down ideas and help the development stage of making the video. The ideas were made from studying cerain videos, pictures and story boards all relating to the crime caper theme. This allowed us to look back at everything we did and for us to gain our ideas from the inspiration we had earlier created in the planning of the blog.

The music used for the video was created on garage band. On garage band there were skills developed such as different sounds used to relate with the crime caper theme. Also using different levels of sound and cutting out music to relate with suspense and activity in the video.
